Unusual options activity scanner

Unusual options activity (UOA) is a contract trading far more than it normally does. OptionsScreenerPro flags it with one transparent rule: session volume above twice its 20-session average and above open interest.

The scan ranks contracts across the market on delayed data and shows every input, so you can see why a contract is on the list.

What it shows

  • Volume against the 20-session average and against open interest
  • Volume / OI and relative volume
  • Premium traded and the contract's share of its chain's money flow
  • The data delay of every number

How to use it

  1. Open Reports and choose Unusual volume.
  2. Sort by Volume / OI or Premium traded.
  3. Save the screen to rerun it in one click, or set an alert on it.

Questions

Does unusual activity mean someone is buying?

No. Volume counts contracts traded; it cannot tell buyers from sellers or opening from closing trades.

Is the data realtime?

No. Phase 1 uses delayed and end-of-day data, labelled as such on every page.

Can I get notified?

Yes. Save the screen and create an alert on it; alerts are checked on delayed data.
