AI explanations of unusual activity

What the "What stands out" box on the Insights page shows, how its AI text is checked against the figures, and what you see when AI is not available.

Overview

On Research → Insights, each symbol can show a What stands out box above its rule cards. It summarises the same figures the cards are built from: volume against open interest, open-interest surges, implied-volatility jumps and money flow.

From the figures means the text was written by code from the figures, with no AI.
AI, checked against the figures means an AI model wrote it and every number in it was matched to a figure before it was shown. Text that fails the check is never shown; the figures are shown instead.
Figures used lists every figure, with the data time.

Before you start

Explain with AI needs a plan that includes AI insights and uses one of your daily AI answers when no explanation for the current figures is cached yet.

Steps

Open Research → Insights and check a symbol.
Read the What stands out box above the cards.
Choose Explain with AI for an AI explanation, or Regenerate when the figures changed since it was written.

Example

For XYZ the box shows From the figures: "XYZ contracts with volume at or above open interest: 6" and "Put/call volume ratio: 1.38", with Figures used (8).

Troubleshooting

No "Explain with AI" button - your plan does not include AI insights, or AI is not switched on yet.
"AI explanation is not available right now" - the figures and rule cards still work; try again later.
