Ask the copilot in Telegram

Ask @OptionsScreenerProBot questions in plain words from a linked Telegram chat, confirm or cancel suggested changes with Yes and No buttons, and understand the limits, data times and refusals.

Overview

Once your Telegram chat is linked, you can type a question to @OptionsScreenerProBot the same way you would ask the copilot in the app: "What does IV rank mean?", "Which of my alerts are active?", "Summarise unusual options activity in XYZ". The bot answers in plain text with the time of the data it used and whether that data is delayed.

Before you start

  • Link your chat first: see Telegram alerts with @OptionsScreenerProBot.
  • Your plan must include AI in Telegram. If it does not, the bot tells you so and your alerts keep arriving.
  • Questions count towards the same daily AI allowance as the copilot in the app (see AI usage and limits). There is also a short-term limit of 20 messages every 5 minutes.

Steps

  1. Open the private chat with @OptionsScreenerProBot in Telegram.
  2. Type your question in plain words and send it. A slow answer first shows "Working on it...".
  3. Read the answer. The last lines give the data time in US Eastern time (for example "Data as of Nov 3, 10:31 AM ET (delayed).") and the disclaimer.
  4. If the bot needs more detail, it asks a short question with buttons (for example the expiry). Tap one, or type your answer.
  5. If you asked for a change (for example "alert me when XYZ IV rank goes above 80"), the bot describes the change and shows Yes, do it and No, cancel. Nothing changes until you tap Yes, do it (or reply "yes"). The offer expires after 10 minutes.

Commands such as /alerts, /whoami, /settings, /unlink and /help keep working as before and are answered without AI.

Example

You send: "Create an alert when XYZ IV rank goes above 80."

The bot replies: "Create alert: XYZ IV rank above 80 (Telegram). Nothing has changed yet. Tap Yes to do it or No to cancel." with two buttons. Tapping Yes, do it creates the alert once; tapping it again does not create a second one.

FAQs

What can the bot see?

Only what your account can see in the app: your watchlists, alerts and saved screens, plus market data and help articles. It never sees other users' data. See AI and your data.

Does the bot work in group chats?

No. It only answers private chats with a linked account.

Which AI answered me?

Ask "Which AI answered me?" and the bot tells you which provider family answered the last question. The platform uses free AI providers only.

Troubleshooting

"Questions in chat are not switched on yet"

The AI assistant is not enabled for Telegram on this platform yet. Your alerts still arrive.

"Asking questions in Telegram is part of plans that include AI in Telegram"

Your plan does not include it. Your alerts and commands still work. Compare plans on the pricing page.

"Questions in chat are paused by an administrator for now"

Staff paused the copilot (for example during maintenance). Try again later.

"You have sent a lot of messages in a short time"

You reached the short-term limit. Wait the number of minutes shown and ask again.

"Sorry, I could not answer that just now"

The AI providers did not answer in time. Try again in a minute; staff are told automatically when this keeps happening.

Educational information, not investment advice. Market data is delayed (or end of day) and labelled as such; nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
