Telegram alerts with @OptionsScreenerProBot
Link your Telegram account with a one-time code, receive alerts in a private chat, use the bot commands, pause an alert from Telegram, and unlink.
Overview
Link your Telegram account once and alerts can arrive as messages from @OptionsScreenerProBot in a private chat. Each alert card shows the symbol, the contract and what changed, then a data line that always names the delay first, for example "Delayed data (15 min) · source · as of 10:31 AM ET, Nov 3". Buttons open the chain in the app or pause the alert.
Before you start
- You need a verified e-mail address and the Telegram app.
- If the Telegram card says Telegram alerts are not available yet, the bot is not switched on for the platform.
Steps
- Open your account settings at
/accountand find the Telegram card. - Click Link Telegram. A one-time code is created; it works once and expires after 15 minutes.
- Click Open Telegram and press Start in the chat with the bot. On a computer without Telegram, use Copy and send the copied
/startcommand to the bot instead. - The bot replies "Linked to" followed by your masked e-mail address, and the card shows Linked.
- Click Send a test to check delivery, then choose Telegram as the channel on the alerts you want there.

FAQs
Can someone else link my account?
No. A link code is created inside your signed-in session, works once and expires after 15 minutes. Only a hash of it is stored. The bot only works in private chats, never in groups.
What does the data line on an alert mean?
It tells you how old the figures are. "Delayed data (15 min)" means the provider delays quotes by 15 minutes; "Real-time data" is shown only when the source is real time. If the source did not report a time, the card says so and you should treat the figures as delayed.
What does Pause alert do?
It switches that alert off. The bot checks the alert belongs to the account linked to your chat first. Turn it back on from /alerts.
Troubleshooting
"Link expired"
The code was used already or is older than 15 minutes. Create a new one with Link Telegram.
"This Telegram account is already linked to another OptionsScreenerPro account"
Send /unlink from the chat while linked to the other account (or unlink it there), then link again.
Alerts stopped arriving
If you blocked the bot, the link is removed automatically. Link again from the Telegram card.
An alert arrived by another channel instead of Telegram
When Telegram does not accept a message (for example during a Telegram outage), the bot tries once more. If that also fails, the delivery is marked failed and your other channels are used so you do not miss the alert.
