Your dashboard
What every tile, list, leaderboard and chart on the Dashboard shows - market session, your saved work, the nine Top 10 market leaderboards and the 30-day trend of the top volume contract.
Overview
The Dashboard is the first page after you sign in. It answers three questions at a glance: is the market open and how fresh is the data, what needs your attention in your own account, and which options are the most active today. Every leaderboard links to the full report it comes from, so the dashboard is a starting point for research rather than a destination.
The data delay depends on your plan and is shown on every view: the Market session tile carries a freshness badge, and each leaderboard card says which session and time its rows are as of.
Before you start
- Every signed-in user has a dashboard. On the Free plan the leaderboards show the previous session's close; paid plans see the current session, as delayed as the plan's data feed.
- Your watchlists, saved screens and alerts appear here once you have created some.
Steps
- Click Dashboard in the sidebar.
- Read the tiles across the top, then any Attention required items.
- Scroll to Market leaderboards and switch each card between STOCKS and ETF.
- Click Full report on a card to open the matching report with every row and filter.
- Press Refresh to reload the leaderboards and charts together. Options screener opens the screener.

Tiles and your work
| Widget | What it means |
|---|---|
| Finish setting up | Your next onboarding steps and progress. It disappears when every step is done or you hide it. |
| Market session | Pre-market, Open, After hours or Closed, with the next open or close time in ET and a freshness badge (provider, delay, as-of time). |
| Watchlists | How many watchlists you have and how many symbols they track. |
| Saved screens | How many screens you have saved. |
| Active alerts | Alerts that are switched on, out of your total. |
| Attention required | Only real items: a failed payment, an unverified e-mail address, alerts that fired in the last 24 hours, failed alert deliveries, plan limits you are close to or over, and data feeds running late. Hidden when there is nothing to show. |
| Continue where you left off | Pages you opened recently (symbols, screens, watchlists, reports). |
| Watchlists and Recent saved screens lists | Up to six of your watchlists with their item counts, and your six most recently updated screens, with links to open them. |
Staff accounts also see a Data freshness section with ingestion status; subscribers do not.
Market leaderboards
Each card lists the top 10 rows of one report, with STOCKS and ETF tabs. You can drag a card by its handle, or use the up and down arrows, to change the order; the order is kept in this browser, and Reset card order restores the default.
| Card | Ranks by | Key columns |
|---|---|---|
| Most Active Options | Total option volume per symbol | Total option volume, Total call volume and Total put volume with each side's share in brackets, Stock price |
| High Open Interest | Open interest per contract | Open interest, Volume, IV, Expiry, Strike, Delta, Theta, Rho, Type, Premium, Break even, Stock price |
| Volume Leaders | Volume per contract | Same columns as High Open Interest |
| High Implied Volatility | Implied volatility per contract | Same columns as High Open Interest |
| Money Flow Leaders (Approx.) - By Stock | Approximate traded amount per symbol | Total traded amount (approx.), option, call and put volume with shares, Stock price |
| Money Flow Leaders (Approx.) - By Strike Price | Approximate traded amount per contract | Total traded amount (approx.), Expiry, Strike, Type, Volume, Open interest, IV, Premium, Break even, Stock price |
| Implied Volatility Surge | Change in IV against the previous session's close (rises and falls) | IV surge (%), plus contract columns and the Extraction time |
| Open Interest Surge | Change in open interest against the previous session's close (rises and falls) | OI surge (%), plus contract columns and the Extraction time |
| Volume Surge | Change in volume against the previous session's close (rises and falls) | Volume surge (%), plus contract columns and the Extraction time |
Column notes:
- Premium is the contract's mark per share; Break even is strike + premium for a call and strike - premium for a put.
- A share cell such as
20,000 ( 40.00 % )is that side's volume and its percentage of the symbol's total option volume. - A surge cell shows the change and the percentage change against the earlier value, green with an up arrow for a rise, red with a down arrow for a fall, and
unchwhen nothing changed. - Total traded amount (approx.) is the money flow approximation explained in Reports explained.
30-day trend of the top volume contract
Three small charts follow the contract at the top of the Volume Leaders card (STOCKS tab) over its last 30 sessions. The subtitle names the contract (symbol, call or put, strike and expiration).
| Chart | What it means |
|---|---|
| Money Flow Chart (Approx.) (30 Days) | Session volume x closing mark x 100, in USD. |
| Volume Chart (30 Days) | Contracts traded each session. |
| Open Interest Chart (30 Days) | Open interest at each session's close. |
How to read it
- Read the caption on each card first. "Top 10 records as of" followed by a date and time tells you which session you are looking at; "as of previous day" means your plan shows the previous session's close.
- Most Active Options and Money Flow Leaders (Approx.) - By Stock work per symbol; the other cards work per contract (one expiration, strike and type).
- The surge cards compare against the previous session's close and include falls as well as rises. A large percentage on a small base (for example open interest going from 10 to 100) is less meaningful than a large absolute change; read the change and the open interest together.
- A symbol that appears on several cards at once (high volume, open interest surge and high money flow) is drawing broad attention that day. That is an observation about activity, not about direction.
Example
Illustrative data only. Most Active Options shows XYZ first with 100,000 contracts, of which calls are 60,000 ( 60.00 % ). Open Interest Surge lists an XYZ 55 call with +5,000 ( 50.00 % ). The 30-day charts below show that contract's volume at about 2,000 a session for most of the month and 20,000 on the latest session. Together they tell you XYZ call activity is far above its own recent level, and that the activity left new open interest behind.
Using it in your research
- What is the market busy with today? Scan Most Active Options and Money Flow Leaders for names to investigate, then open the Most active options report or the Money flow leaders report for the full list.
- Where are positions concentrated? High Open Interest points to contracts with large existing positions; see the Open interest leaders report.
- Where is volatility priced highest? High Implied Volatility points to contracts the market prices for large moves; see the IV leaders report.
- Which contracts traded the most? Use the Volume leaders report and the Money flow by strike report to see the full list behind the cards.
- Is a surge worth a closer look? Take a contract from a surge card to Unusual options activity insights or add the symbol to a watchlist and set an alert.
Troubleshooting
The leaderboards show yesterday's data
On the Free plan they always show the previous session's close; the caption says "as of previous day". On a paid plan, check the Market session badge: outside market hours the latest session is the most recent one available.
A card says there are no stock or ETF rows
The report had no rows for that tab in the session, which happens with ETFs on quiet days or right after the open. Press Refresh later, or open Full report.
The 30-day charts say "No daily history for this contract yet."
The top contract is new or recently listed, so there are not yet stored daily summaries for it.
My card order reset
The order is saved in your browser only. A different browser, a private window or cleared site data shows the default order.
