Saved screens

Store a screener configuration under a name, rerun it against the latest snapshot in one click, and start your own variant from a report preset.

Overview

A saved screen is the complete configuration of a screener run: screener type (options or stocks), the symbol selection (specific symbols, a watchlist or the whole universe), every filter and the sort order.

Before you start

The number of saved screens depends on your plan; see Account and billing.

Steps

Save a screen

  1. Run a screen in Screeners → Options or Screeners → Stocks.
  2. Choose Save screen, give it a name and, optionally, a description.
  3. The screen appears under Research → Saved Screens.

Rerun a screen

  1. Open Research → Saved Screens.
  2. Click Run on the screen. It runs against the latest snapshot your plan can see.
  3. Change filters if you like; choose Save to overwrite or Save as to create a copy.

Schedule a screen and compare runs

Open the row menu of a saved screen and choose Schedule… to run it on its own at market times, or Run history to see what changed between runs (new matches, rows that dropped out, rows still matching). You get a message only when something you ticked changed. See Scheduled screens and change alerts.

Presets

The Reports page lists platform-maintained presets that mirror the legacy report families. Presets are read-only; open one and Save as to create your own editable version.

Example

Open the Open Interest preset from Reports, add days to expiry at most 45, and Save as Near-term OI (an invented name). The new screen is yours to rerun and edit.

FAQs

Can I share a saved screen?

Not yet. Saved screens are private to your account.

Can a saved screen send me alerts?

Yes: schedule it and tick what should send a message, see Scheduled screens and change alerts. Alerts on one stock or option contract are set under Research → Alerts; see Alerts.

Troubleshooting

A saved screen now returns nothing

A watchlist it used may have been deleted (the screen falls back to all symbols and shows a warning), or the data it filters on is outside your plan's snapshot. Open the screen, check the symbol selection and filters, and save again.
