E-mails we send

Every e-mail OptionsScreenerPro can send you, why you get it, whether you can turn it off, and how the daily e-mail limit and delivery problems are handled.

Overview

OptionsScreenerPro sends a small, fixed set of e-mails. Each one is listed below with when it is sent and whether you can switch it off. The same list is shown in your account under the Notifications tab (E-mails we may send you).

Getting started

  • Welcome: once, after you confirm your e-mail (or your first Google sign-in), with three first steps and a link to the getting-started guide.
  • Finish setting up (onboarding tips): at most two reminders, the first after three quiet days and the next a week later, only while setup steps are open, never after 45 days, and never on a paid plan. You can unsubscribe.

Alerts and digests

  • Alert triggered: one of your alerts met its condition, escalated or moved materially. Several alerts in the same run arrive as one message.
  • Alert digest: an hourly or daily summary when you chose digest mode, or alerts held back by quiet hours.
  • Alert paused: an alert can no longer be evaluated (for example the symbol is no longer listed).

Every alert e-mail names the data provider, the delay and the "as of" time, and ends with "Delayed data. Not investment advice.".

How every e-mail is built

  • The footer says why you got it, links to your notification settings, carries our postal address, and on optional e-mail an Unsubscribe link plus the one-click unsubscribe header that mail apps use.
  • Links into the app carry a src=email tag so we can count which messages are useful. They never contain your user id.
  • E-mails come from our own domain; replies go to support.

The daily e-mail limit

The site sends a limited number of e-mails per day. Security, billing and support e-mails always go first. When the limit is reached, alert e-mails switch to your other channels (in-app, browser push, Telegram), digests wait for the next slot, and onboarding tips wait for another day. Nothing is silently lost: your alert history shows every trigger.

Example

Sample trader signs up on Monday with trader@example.com: a confirmation e-mail, then a welcome e-mail after confirming. On Thursday, with no screen run yet, one "Finish setting up" reminder; the following Thursday a last one. After Sample trader creates an alert on the invented symbol XYZ, alert e-mails start, one per episode.

Troubleshooting

I stopped getting e-mails

If an e-mail to your address bounced or was marked as spam, we pause e-mail to protect delivery for everyone, and show a notice in the Notifications tab and in-app. Fix the address (or contact support) to resume.

I unsubscribed by mistake

Sign in, open Account, choose the Notifications tab and switch the e-mail back on.

Educational information, not investment advice. Market data is delayed (or end of day) and labelled as such; nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
